Children in Southeastern India Gain Study Skills with Seminars Based on the Scientology Handbook

"One of the facts of life in the modern world is that everyone who works, whether as a laborer, an artisan, or in business, government, finance or management, has to be able to assimilate the important information that relates to their job, retain it and use it. That, whether in a formal school setting or the 'school of life,' is what studying is really all about."
This, from the web site of the Mobile Scientology Volunteer Ministers Center in Tamil Nadu, explains the group's commitment to bringing study technology, developed by L. Ron Hubbard, to the people of the region.
Tamil Nadu is a former French colony on the southeastern coast of India. The entire region was decimated by the 2004 tsunami.
When they heard of the disaster, Marc and Prisca Arrighi left France with their entire family to work with the relief effort. But they didn't leave when the immediate job was done. They stayed on to help improve the lives of the people in the villages of the region.
Over the past two years, the Arrighis and the team of local Volunteer Ministers they have trained helped more than 1500 children with seminars that will enable them to make the most of their future education. This seminar in study technology is based on a chapter from the Scientology Handbook.
Here is what one of the students who recently completed this seminar had to say:
"For the past three days I've been taking a seminar organized by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers on study technology. I have in fact learned a new way to learn. I studied different barriers to study and what the solutions are to each of them. It has been so useful! And I really enjoyed myself throughout the entire three days. Everything was taught step by step, so you could understand it all fully. I will absolutely be able to use this in the future! And I can use what I learned to help my friends and family who have study problems. Thank you Mr. L. Ron Hubbard for this technology."
