The Scientology Handbook was released to the people of West Bengal at the Calcutta Book Fair, and the impact it has made in just 8 months is a testament to the power of the technology developed by L. Ron Hubbard.
Although West Bengal occupies less than 3 percent of the India it is the most densely populated state in India comprising nearly 10 percent of the population.
A dedicated team of Scientology Volunteer Ministers who have been trained on courses based on the Scientology Handbook have taken this technology into the slums of Calcutta, a city notorious for its poverty, drugs, illiteracy and sexual trafficking, where an estimated one third of Calcutta's 14 million residents live in slums
Spearheaded by the Scientology Volunteer Ministers India Goodwill Tour, this group of young men and women are living examples of their motto — "Something CAN be done about it!"
In September the Scientology Handbook will be released in Bengali at the New Delhi Book Fair, making this technology available to 200 million people for whom this is the native language.
Sheena Chohan, a model and former Miss Calcutta, and a trained Scientology Volunteer Minister, is the spokesperson for the release of these publications, which will make Scientology tools available to the people of her native city.
