International Scientology Disaster Relief Team in Java, Indonesia
The International Scientology Disaster Relief Team continues its work in the Bantul district of Java, which was hit six weeks ago by a devastating 6.2 magnitude earthquake.
Although the quake destroyed every home in the village of Canden, through the work of the Scientology Volunteer Ministers the villagers now once again feel hopeful about their future and ready to rebuild their community.
The Scientology Volunteer Ministers provided workshops in the application of Scientology assists from the Scientology Handbook to the people of the village to help them overcome their trauma, raise their spirits and learn to help one another.
Scientology Volunteer Ministers from Australia, Indonesia, New Zealand, and as far away as Japan, Sweden and the United States are working together as one team to bring Scientology assist technology to the people of Java.
